I have a shape file of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and I am wondering if I can show varying lake levels (by way of lines circling the polygon(s) ) throughout several years? I have the level information on a spreadsheet and would like to input that information. I have input info into ArcMap 10 via a spreadsheet before, so I know how to do that, I'm just not clear on the first step for drawing the lines from the edges of the lakes.
I'm sure this is simpler than I'm making it out to be ... any help is greatly appreciated!!!
