Export SDE feature layer to file geodatabase with objectID

I have a situation where we have an SDE geodatabase feature layer that has some fault data.
The users have no write to write it, so we need to export it to file geodatabase, edited and import it back again.
I want to keep the object id for tracking.
What the way to export it keeping the objectID?
I am using desktop 10.1
if I use "Feature class to Feature class" does it save the same objectid?
