Get count of identical points in point feature class

I'm probably brain freezing on this, but here's my question. I have a point layer of geocoded addresses (police warrants). I used Summarize on the addresses to get a table with the count of identical addresses. But I can't figure out how to join that table to the original point layer. Arc won't let me do a join based on address, presumably because of cardinality. Doesn't matter which direction the join goes, point layer to table or table to point layer. the OK button is grayed out. It will do a relate, but since the related fields don't show up in the point layer attribute table, I can't use that for analysis or other tasks.

I must be missing something simple here, but don't know what. Any help much appreciated, thanks.
