Select Attributes from Table

Hello There

I am wondering whether somebody could please help me with constructing a query to select specific records within an attribute table?

I have a number of fields and would like to identify records where two sets of number ranges intersect. See attachment.

For the range of values which occur between SUR_1T and DD_AHD I would like to identify where any number in this range occurs between QA_1T and QA_2B (and then subsquently UTB_1T and UTB_2B, UTQA_1T and UTQA_2B and so on). By the way, the values denoted 999999 are Null.

I have tried a few different queries in the 'Select by Attributes' dialog box but have not obtained the desired result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
