We've been having trouble with the find tool crashing ArcMap/not responding for ten minutes or so. The find tool opens with no problems and searched features come back straight away. The problem is when a record in the results window is right-clicked, ArcMap will hit
tasks.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/services 7 times, then tasks.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/Services/NetworkAnalysis/ESRI_Route_NA/MapServer/NAServer 2 times
which crashes most users ArcMap sessions.
In our organisation most users have their profiles locked down/ with limited permissions. When they try this procedure, their ArcMap crashes. As an administrator, I have more permissions and my ArcMap doesnt crash, but it does still do the connections as above.
I've tried editing the default locators file, and I've done every other suggestion I can find, but ArcMap will still connect to arcgisonline as above.
Any ideas on how to stop this connection would be welcome.
Organisation details:
ArcMap 10.2 Desktop clients running on ArcServer 10.0 with SDE. SQL Server 2008 database. Permissions controlled by active directory and we have roaming profiles on our network.
