Added Font not functioning

Hello,

I need to work with the Helvetica font, which was not provided by ESRI. So, I uploaded the zipfile to the windows/fonts directory. Upon trying again to change the font of the text Helvetica appeared as a choice in the dropdown but would ultimately change to Arial instead. It seems corrupted for some reason?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
