Query related records

Hey All, I have a feature class (CAKE). It's a simple point feature class with predictable values, including a subtype field for cake_style. Recently, though, some places where my cakes are slated to be delivered have a 200 ft. peanut-free policy. The problem is that "PEANUT" can only be found in a related record in a table called current_toppings.

Since they can't penetrate the 200ft. barrier, I need to select all CAKE records where current_toppings = "PEANUT". Can I do this without joining the tables or exporting the data out of my production database?
