Hi all!
My wish is to visualize the geological layers of an area using Arcscene. But since it was a while since I used the program, I want to know if it is even possible before spending heaps of time on trying.
So, the idea is simple:
I have 3 files containing XYZ data (coordinates and elevation). These represent ground surface and two underground layer interfaces.I want an outcome which shows the surfaces in a 3D model which you can move around to look at. This in order to see where the layers are thinner and so on.
I am not at all sure that Arcscene can plot two or more surfaces so that they are at the correct position in relation to each other in the elevation plane.
Anyone who has any helpful ideas?
Very grateful if that is the case!
Cheers
/Maria
