Hi ,
I want to export an arcgis vector map as an emf file. I want to import this emf into Powerpoint, ungroup it there and then edit the map. My problem lies here: after I convert the imported emf map into powerpoint and convert it to a Microsoft drawing object, and ungroup once again, the map extends about 1cm beyond the original dataframe I displayed in ArcGIS.
I don't want this extra map extent and cannot crop it out in Powerpoint (ppt does not provide the abiliity to crop grouped objects). I thought the prolem may lie in ArcGIS and I set the data frame properties to the layout extent, clipped the output to graphics extent. I have tried all sorts of combinations and always I get more map than I want.
Any ideas???
Thanks
