I am trying to create a drop down attribute table for some work that I am doing in ArcMap 10. I have right clicked on the geodatabase where the shapefile is stored in ArcCatalog and changed the domain to coded and added the appropraite coded values to each field. However, when I open up the attribute table in ArcMap none of the fields are on the table and none of the drop down menus show up. I must be missing a step or a few. Could someone please help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
