Buffer question concerning proximity to two objects

Hi, I frequently use Arcmap to calculate whether one object is within a certain distance from another object, so I use a buffer or just select by location.

Is it possible to calculate whether or not a point object (say a home) is within a certain distance (say 500m) from Two point objects (say hospitals)? What I mean by this is that the house point would only be selected if within 300m of two hospitals, not just one.
