Map Speller in ArcGis 10.2

Hello,

We have recently upgraded to ArcGis 10.2 and with that came a Map Speller tool from Edgetech...the problem is I cannot run it.
Every time I try to run the spell checker (either on my data or layout) it crashes and kicks me out of ArcMap, prompting me to send
an error report (which I have)
any ideas? Is there a patch or fix to run that will stop this?
