Intel quad-core i7 (2.1GHz) really not enough for ArcGIS Desktop 10?

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a new laptop so I can work with ArcGIS Desktop 10 on the go. I saw that under minimum hardware requirements, ESRI lists a CPU speed of "2.2 GHz minimum ; Hyper-threading (HHT) or Multi-core recommended." The system I'm really interested in comes with an Intel quad-core i7 3612QM that operates at 2.1GHz with turbo boost speed up to 3.1GHz (also 16GB of RAM and 1GB dedicated graphics). Obviously with the turbo boost the CPU can reach the necessary 2.2GHz, but I don't know if it's a good idea to rely on that for regular operation of ArcGIS. I can't imagine that a new quad-core i7 processor couldn't handle the software.

I know there are many posts about system requirements, but I didn't see any specifically addressing CPU speed. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
