Multiple instances of "Service Layer Credits"

I always convert the service layer credits to dynamic text and change the font size to something reasonable and position it somewhere that makes sense on that particular map. Periodically I open a map and fail to notice a big ugly blob of text in my insert or under my legend from the non-dynamic service layer credits text block. I then look like a shmuck.

Is this happening to other users? Has a bug been reported or is there some solution already out there?
