NULL vs. (ArcGIS 9.3.1)

Is there a way for ArcMap to display NULL values differently from values stored as '<Null>'?

The values are stored differently in Oracle so when you query on them in ArcMap they are coded separately (see included image). Though visually in ArcMap tables they are indistinguishable from each other at first glance. Is there a toggle or variable I can set to be able to see these values differently in the table views in ArcMap (9.3.1).
