DEM issues help

I have a DEM, some hill shading and river polylines.

What is swiss-style hill shading and how do you apply it to hill shading?

I need to display the DEM with hypsometric and bathymetric tinting and swiss-style hill shading on the same DEM? have thought about transparency, but not sure if there's another way.

Also can you show hypsometric and bathymetric tinting on the same DEM?

Trying to show rivers, would bathymetric tinting be enough to show them?
