Labeling A .kml or .kmz

I'm trying to export a shapefile or feature class to a .kmz or .kml with a label from the attribute table. I've tried X-Tools Pro (Export Data to KML) and choose the attribute field then export. That didn't work. Next I tried ET GW I got it to work once but I have 2 more shapefiles to do. That didn't work. Can anyone give me any more Ideas? I don't have Global Mapper.
