Hi Folks,
I have a number of existing tables in Postgres(PostGIS) that I'd like to register with the geodatabase. I have already installed enabled geodatabase functionality to the Postgres database I created up front.
In fact, I can already add a layer form the various spatial tables in the database, and I can publish the geodatabase as a geodata service to the server and everything seems to work fine.
My only concern is that I never manually added the tables into the geodatabase (http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/...000000qz000000), when I right click on one of the tables and go to Manage->Register with geodatabase
that option is disabled. I have verified that the user I'm using to connect to the Postgres DB through ArcMap is the owner of the table.
Does this mean that I don't have to register this table, and that it was automagically done?
I don't see anything in GDBITEMS that tells me this is the case.
I'm using 10.2.2
Thanks!
