I've got a problem and although there are a few similar threads out there that seem to discuss the same problem, I haven't found a solution yet.
The situation is as followed. I have a fishnet with grids numbering from 1 to 83. The gridnumber is the primary key. Within each grid there are 16 points. Each point has a grid number based on the grid it lies in (foreign key). What I want to do now is to autonumber each point per grid. The end result should be that in the PS_number column all points are numbered from 1 to 16 per Grid_number. Is there a way to do this with for instance the field calculator?
